Giant Double Chocolate Cookie
Usually, Adam is the baker in the family.
Have you ever seen this book? Basically, this is Adam. Kensie has thought so almost since she started dating him. She even made him this apron for his birthday.
You can say "what if I didn't add quite enough flour?" and Adam will tell you what will happen to your cookie. It's pretty incredible.
But there is one cookie that Kensie really likes to make (and even more likes to eat).
It is this: a Giant Double Chocolate Cookie.
(Yes, that is a full-size cookie sheet. It really is that big!)
So what are you waiting for? Try it!
And let us know what you think!

The recipe comes from our favorite food blog of all time: Mel's Kitchen Cafe. (Link)
Probably 98% of the food we eat comes from that blog. No joke. And the rest is tacos and spaghetti and fried eggs and stuff.
Anyway, our favorite things about this recipe:
(1) It tastes like a brownie cookie. Literally SO GOOD!
(2) You don't have to soften the butter just right - it gets melted in with the chocolate chips!
(3) It is giant. There is always plenty. And the leftovers stay soft and delicious!
(4) It's easy and quick to make - about 30 minutes and just a handful of dishes.
(5) It is super adaptable.
The adaptability is one of Kensie's favorite parts because she loves throwing random things into recipes and seeing how it turns out. For the cookie in the picture above we added hazelnut M&Ms, marshmallows, soft caramel bits, and chocolate chips. We have also made a variety with crushed peppermint candies and another with peanut butter swirled in. And they all come out great!
And let us know what you think!
